This is where it got interesting. Some where around the 40th mile our gas lights were coming on. This is generally no big deal, but A) we did not have enough gas to go back the way we came, B) Every loop we thought was going to take us back, took us away from the trucks, C) We finally found the blue diamond to try and complete the loop since we knew it would take us back, unfortunately we were a little more than halfway around the loop. With us low on gas there was no room for mistakes, or we were walking back to get gas. |
